National Honor Society

Members of the New Bremen High School National Honor Society are juniors and seniors who demonstrate excellence in the areas of scholarship, character, leadership and community service. The NBHS Honor Roll recognized only scholastic achievement, while NHS members are recognized for achievement beyond classroom performance.

New Member Application

The membership application for the current school year is available beginning the first day of school in August. Only current juniors and seniors who are not members and have at least a 3.5 cummulative GPA are eligible to apply for membership. Applications must be submitted to the NHS Advisor before the second Thursday of September. Late, incomplete or hand-written applications will not be accepted or considered.

Adopt-A-Highway

One of our chapter's service projects is participation in the Ohio Department of Transportation Adopt-A-Highway program. We are responsible for the 2 mile section of SR66 just north of town. All members must read the documents on the right side of this page with the prefix "AAH". New NHS members as well as any other non-member students are required to complete the AAH Release and AAH Consent documents prior to participation in a clean-up day. Each scheduled clean-up day is a required event for current members.
