You are going to practice word problems involving makingchange.

Task #1

1. http://www.mathplayground.com/making_change.html click here to play the money game.
2. Play the money game at least 10 times
3. http://www.ixl.com/math/grade-4/making-change click here to play this money game. Answer the 20 questions.
4. Either print the practice summary report, or copy the information from the report onto paper and turn it in to me when we return to school. If you choose to copy the information onto paper, be sure to include all the information on the summary.

           Exact time spent

           Your smart score

           Problems correct

5. The maximum number of problems you can practice on this website is 20, so once you begin, be sure to finish it, or you will be locked out of the assignment.

• Click on the web-site above to play the game.
• Click on easy and then the United States Flag. Do 8 problems and record the number correct and incorrect on a piece of paper.
• Go to the bottom of the page and click Start Over. Click on Medium and complete 8 problems and record information.
• Go to the bottom of the page again and click Start Over. Click on Hard and complete 8 problems and record information.
• Go to the bottom of the page and click onStart Over. Click on Super Brain and complete 8 problems and record information.

7. Complete the 6 problems below on a sheet of paper. Turn in the paper when you return to school or within 2 weeks of the eDay.

e. Matt has $15.00. He wants to buy a video game for $12.95 and a controller for $1.99. Does Matt have enough money to buy all the items? Show all work.

f.Addison has two five dollar bills. She buys a brush for $4.65 and a comb for $2.43. How much change will Addison get back? Show all work.
